League: Puerto Rican League
History: For the 1954-1955 winter league season in Puerto Rico, the Cangrejeros boasted one of the greatest outfields in baseball history. In right was a 20-year-old Roberto Clemente, soon to make his debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates. In center was reigning National League MVP Willie Mays, who won the Puerto Rican MVP award. And in left was Puerto Rican star Luis Olmo. Nicknamed the "Panic Squad", the team won both the Puerto Rican League and Caribbean Series titles.
